Hi, my name is Chanel Asawo!

My love for makeup began at the age of 10 when I created a YouTube channel instructing makeup tutorials.

I started in the industry as a Makeup Assistant to a Professional Bridal Makeup Artist in Calgary, Alberta.

I had the opportunity to learn and work with celebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson, who has graced the covers of fashion giants such as Vogue, Allure, Elle, and W Magazine with stars like Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry, Karlie Kloss, Zoe Kravitz, Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba, Nina Dobrev, Mary J. and Blake Lively.

I was a makeup artist backstage for NYFW SS25 with shows including Tanner Fletcher, Caroline Zimbalist, Miss Circle, Buci, Tombogo, Kallmeyer, Bibhu Mohpatra, PH5, & Flying Solo. My work in New York has been featured in Vogue Runway and Harpers Bazzar.

My goal is to enhance the beauty of every individual that sits in my chair and give them that Crystalskn that glows on the inside & outside.
